- A: Yes, the Ontario Child Protection Mediation Roster will reflect where services are offered, and you may offer your, or your firm's services in more than one municipality or area of coverage. On the registration form there is an area to be filled in that allows you to indicate where your services are offered.
- Q: There is a roster for mediators on the Ontario Association for Family Mediation website. Do mediators on this website qualify as Ontario Child Protection Roster Mediators?
- A: No, the only mediators included on the Ontario Child Protection Mediator Roster are found on the Roster at this website.
- Q: What is the best way to submit my application?
- A: Fax your completed application to (613) 241-8711. This will result in the quickest processing.

Children's Aid Societies
- Q: Are Children's Aid Societies required to justify the selection of a specific mediator from the Ontario Child Protection Mediation Roster for a mediation?
- A: There is currently no requirement for Children's Aid Societies to justify their selection of mediator.

Police Check
- Q: There are several types of police background checks which may be performed. There is a regular check for a criminal record, and there is also a check that is performed for persons dealing with "vulnerable populations". To be eligible for inclusion on the Ontario Child Protection Mediation Roster, which check is required?
- A: The regular police check for criminal record is the requirement for eligibility for inclusion on the Ontario Child Protection Mediation Roster.
